It’s what I expected! I bought in 2 different colors. I do not care about the wrinkles in it my kids are young and don’t care. It is very light weight and fluffy that’s all my kids wanted. I did wash them first before I put them on. There wasn’t a smell but you should always wash bedding before laying in it. I got the light beige color. The comforter and shams are really soft and a lovely neutral color, and I love the soft texture on them as well. It is somewhat heavier and nicer than I thought it might be. The set comes with two accent pillows (approximately 16x16” and 18x12”), but those are more of a canvas feel and slightly lighter color, and the texture on them is more of an embroidery floss than the soft texture on the rest of the set.
