The packaging was simple and easy to open, which I appreciated right away. Unlike some boxed mattresses that practically explode the moment the plastic is cut, this one expands in a much calmer and safer way. It slowly drew in air and took about two hours to really look like a mattress, then continued settling overnight until it reached its full shape.
Comfort wise, this mattress definitely lives up to its extra firm description. It has very little give, yet feels supportive rather than hard. The breathable foam construction also helps it feel comfortable through the night. I chose the 10” thick version and think it would be especially good for a bunk bed, daybed, trundle, RV, or guest room where a dependable low profile mattress is needed. Overall, it’s a straightforward comfortable extra firm mattress that does exactly what it’s designed to do well. Practical and easy to use. Ideal for an extra bed used for short term guests..
