We bought this for our home, intentionally wanting a very large magnetic board. This did it! It was quite heavy, not the 8 pounds it was listed as. My only qualms are that it arrived without any instructions for hanging and was missing some hardware, but I never contacted customer service about that, and the plastic coating over the white board went under the frame, so it was really annoying to peal off. But, once we got past initial installation things, it’s perfect for us!

I ordered this item for my home and was very upset once it finally arrived. It is made of metal and very heavy. More appropriate for a school or office.
