Weatherproof TV Wall Mount for Greater than 50" Screens

works great for a cheap option, usually buy high end mounts but this one works on a budget

I bought this mount in 2012 to carry a monster lg 65" 3d tv. I had to go into the wall to beef up the 2×4 support where a window had been removed and not filled strong enough to carry the load. The mount and tv have been in place ever since. Excellent mount if tilt is the only movement adjustment you need.

I used this mount for a trade show, mounting 100 lb touch screen monitors to wooden panels that were attached to framing hardware. The mounts were super easy to install, and robust enough that I didn't have any doubts that they would hold the monitors without issue.

Although we’ve only had this for two weeks, it seems to be a very good product. Well-constructed. Solid. We installed on a brick wall so a hammer drill made the process much easier. My only reason for four stars instead of 5 is that the instructions are a bit lacking, especially in figuring exactly which hanger mounting holes make the best sense to utilize given the TV’s size and the location of outlets. Our power outlet was toward the bottom of the TV so we had to mount the brackets “not too high and not too low” on the back or the TV in order to block the outlet from view yet allow enough clearance over our mantel for decorations. It took some trial and error.
