These are the Best! I have only owned these for the last 10 years here in Phoenix Arizona. The material will last in real hot sun unlike most all types of sun umbrellas. Nice little cots. The material has to be pulled tight so assembly is best with two people but possible with one. Very stable which is a big plus. Only down side for me was that the legs stand much wider than the bed itself. This is the only reason I took off a star. This means they were unsuitable for use inside a crate of similar size. Universal Umbrella Water Base comes 4 to a set and works with any umbrella that uses a conventional flanged cross brace base. The HDPE base plates also come with a chrome plated steel handle for easy carrying and movement and fits seamlessly with the Coolaroo cantilever umbrellas. Their contemporary design makes them an attractive and practical enhancement to any umbrella!

This base fit my umbrella perfectly. I filled it with water for weight. It prevented my cantilevered umbrella from tipping over in normal weather with winds while open. I wouldnt leave the umbrella open when not being used for fear of strong weather changes that produce winds over 15 mph. With that said, the stand prevented the umbrella from tipping in 30 mph winds generated by thunderstorms that occurred here in the midwest while it was closed. I do not recommend leaving the water in the base during freezing weather. I would be afraid of the plastic splitting if the water froze. We empty them.
