I wanted to love this dresser. In fact, I love the look of it. It was on back order so that may have made my anticipation more. The wood detail on the drawers is very eye catching. It is a little bigger depth wise for my room than I had thought of but we made it work. The only thing I do not like about this dresser is the drawer situation. They are deep drawers, but do not pull out all the way. The soft close has a lot to be desired as well. I purchased this chair for my office. I already own a Fairfield chair in a different room which is nearly 20 years old and still looks brand new. Sturdy, solid, good looking, traditional chairs. I'm 5'8" about 140 lbs, but my husband is 6'2" and 300 lbs and both of us can use this chair (the Cabot) comfortably. It's a larger chair but doesn't have a huge footprint, so it can go anywhere. I notice when company comes over, people sit in it. I did request a few fabric samples from Fairfield before ordering, and I'm glad I took that extra step to get exactly what I wanted.
