I have always disliked the fussiness of most utensil sets with the two sizes of forks and two sizes of spoons. I understand why they come that way, but it also seems to come from the era of people picking out wedding china patterns - save it for grandma's house. So when I found this set with just one size of each, I was super happy. I will say that the spoons are probably a true teaspoon size, and I wish they were larger; they feel very undersized and out of scale with the fork and knife. I bought three sets of the Mikasa Samantha Gold 12-Piece Dinnerware Set, and I’m very happy with them. The material feels high quality, and the design is elegant . I use these dishes for formal dinners rather than everyday meals because they add a beautiful, upscale touch to the table. My only suggestions for improvement would be to make the cerealsoup bowls a little smaller and to design the pieces so they stack more efficiently for storage.
