I needed a timer that would work for more things other than Christmas lights, most only have hour timers and turn on from dusk to dawn. This one has so many time settings and works anytime you need. Has an internal clock as well! Works perfectly for my outdoor water fountain.

Definitely what I needed. You can program everyday of the week to the exact time to come on and when to turn off A must have for indoor/outdoor lighting. Will be great for the Christmas tree.
