Brand new out of the box and it wont seal after vaccum. Garbage! Do not recommend. Youre better off using a straw and tape.

I received this as a Christmas gift. The vac & seal button doesn't work. It only vacs. So I thought that's ok, I'll just push the seal button after. NOPE... as I did this with a roast, I could see the air go back into the bag after I pushed seal. I use to love Cuisinart, but my last 2 appliances did not work properly so I'm done with them.

Hose not included… you’re getting lamb basted all over review sites online for this with 1 star ratings, which will affect sales obviously. Yet here we are, Cuisinart doing nothing about it.

I bought this item two days ago (Jul 13, 25) and it looks really nice on the counter. Unfortunately, it doesn't get anywhere near hot enough to seal a bag - I can pop the lid up right after a seal and touch the teflon 'sealing surface' with a finger (don't ever do this on one that's working properly, btw) and feel just mild warmth. There may be an easy fix for this, but when I came to the Cuisinart site there isn't even any support offered online for vacuum sealers?? Strange and so very disappointing in both product and company.

Does not take all of the air out of bag, do not buy this product, it is no more useful than putting item in a ziplock bag and putting it in the freezer. Don't waste your money.
