It is quiet, you just can use it immediately after takin out of the box. My jasmine rice tastes wonderful. It is easy to clean, non stick and beautiful.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 4 stars because,I was extremely disappointed there wasn't a little cookbooks with at least some recipes and actual simple directions. The cooker it's self is light weight, the controls / settings are simple you push the little button down. to turn on. it's kinda similar to a slow cooker the little pot in the inside comes out. It did have a smell when I first plugged it up. it's easy to clean since the little pot comes out. i don't know who needs to hear this but dont get the inside where the pot sits wet.. it's performance pretty decent . but if I had had an actual recipe book it helped me a lot more

For a long time, I struggled making rice on the stovetop because it always turned out dry on top and super wet at the bottom. I honestly thought it was a problem with the rice I'm using, but this rice cooker proved it was just my old pot. Now, my husband and I get perfect, fluffy rice every single time. It comes with a measuring cup and a puddle, and I cook using a simple 1 cup of rice to 1 cup of water ratio. It cooks fast and evenly, and it’s just as good that I don't have to worry about it even if I forget it, because it automatically switches to the "Keep Warm" setting. The compact, sleek design is perfect for small kitchen counter spaces, making it a great size for couples, small families, or students. I also love that it includes a steamer, though the basket sits deeper inside the pot rather than sitting on top like other models. Because of that, I prefer to steam my vegetables separately, but it's still a useful feature to have. Overall, it's a great rice cooker that has made cooking so much easier, and I highly recommend it!

It also doubles as a steamer and can steam veggies as well! It makes side dishes so easy to do while I’m cooking the main dish. It’s definitely a time saver for me!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a pretty handy appliance, leaving an extra spot on your stovetop. The size of it is great for small or large amounts of rice. I chose to use the steamer part separate from the rice this time so I could get a good view of how the rice cooked. All in all it worked great both ways. Clean up was easy. It's not noisy in any way. I really like how easy it is to use. Will definitely use this alot.
