I can bend the handle bay hand - can't use it to pick the bowl up with ingredients in it or it bends. PRetty sure it's going to break soon. I've seen others mention welding it on - the problem isn't with the welding to the bowl, it's with the materials of the handle being too flimsy.

I bought a new 8 Quart stand mixer about a month ago. I am so glad I did. I make a lot food items. This bowl is large enough to take double and quadruple recipes. I am planning on buying a second 8 Quart bowl for making items that require batter plus beaten egg whites for waffles, Chantilly Cream, etc.

After 3 days of using handle broke on 8qrt mixing bowl. Handle was glued on, not welded as would appear.

I was pleased to discover that this bowl work equally well with the 7qt Pro and 8qt commercial mixers that I own. An interesting point is that all the tools seem interchangeable as well flat beaters, wire whisks, and dough hooks. Although this makes me wonder if there is really any difference between the two machines aside from the length of the product warranty and price?
