The highest setting will definitely burn the toast and the lighter settings lightly toast. Color looks great in my kitchen and it will be easy to clean as there are no hidden crevices.

When I first plugged this toaster on, it smelled strongly of chemicals. I kept running the cycle under the vent, and the smell lessened. We tried using it for our breakfast in the morning and he single slot, it is huge! I can fit flat bread, long sourdough slices, and fits 2 regular pieces of bread! The problem was the intense smell of chemicals, making the bread smell and taste like toxins! I do not recommend this product at all. It is cheap and smells AWFUL!

The soft blue color is SO cute on my counter, and I especially love how long the slot is - it actually fits my larger slices of sourdough without having to squeeze them in. It’s easy to use, toasts evenly to the perfect crunch, and feels sturdy and well made.
