I actually used this to store extra large coffee mugs. It worked quite well.

These are nice, well made boxes, and the Christmas colors help keep them sorted from others boxes. The bottom needs to be stronger. I added a piece of masonite board cut to fit, and I no longer feel the movement I did before. I will buy more when needed.

I gave it 4 stars because of the strength of it. I put some of my fine China in it and all was well until I picked it up by the handles. It is not very supportive so be very careful handling it and keep your hands on the bottom of the storage container so your dishes don’t fall and break. Otherwise it is just as stated it was.

Love this plate storage chest. Well-built. Attractive. Goes with other storage boxes for Christmas china and mugs. Very happy with this product!

The box is much too big to hold salad plates. It takes too much storage space. You would be better off with zippered cases that would only take the space of liners and salad plates.
