It heats up evenly and food sticks less to it than my other stainless steel pans so I prefer to use it over those. The picture is after four rounds of smaller pancakes made in the pan with only one application of olive oil, whereas my other pans I had to keep adding oil or butter or it’s definitely going to stick. The handle is attached only on the outside and after having this option, I don’t know why all pans don’t do this. The grill pan set was designed with a stainless steel induction plate that makes for perfect cooking on any surface. From electric, gas, ceramic, and even induction cooktops. The Ceramitech non-stick technology means nothing will stick. Cook without butter, oil, or chemicals. The riveted handles allow for high heat and are heat resistant up to 850 degrees. The stainless steel induction plate means no hot spots.

I finally used these skillets. They not only look good, but I am also impressed with quality and cook ability of them. They are very lightweight which was a little concerning to me when they arrived, but since then, they have proven themselves to me and I am very happy. The key to cooking properly with these is to cook using a very low heat. Also, try not using oil or butter at all. The food slips right off the surface of these pans very easily. If you need to use butter or oil, use very little and make sure the pan is very hot. Test it with a couple drops of water and if the water sizzles, the pan is ready. I have read reviews that say the non stick feature doesn't work after a couple of uses. However, I haven't had this experience. After use, I let the pan cool down completely, then hand wash them with a non metal scrubbing pad and mild detergent. I also do not use metal utensils. The Lynns pans are a medium weight and the set had the pot sizes I was looking as replacements for my Revere Ware pots. They also have the stay cool handles I wanted. I researched cooking sets for a long time before I decided on this set. The Lynns brand is almost a "sleeper" brand, in that many other name brand companies who make stainless steel cookware are so expensive, and this set is affordable.
