This little chest is very nice. It did take my husband quite a while to put it together. There are a lot of parts. But, we are quite happy with it. We are especially happy that the bottoms of the three large drawers are reinforced for added strength and to prevent sagging.. That doesn't always happen with this kind of furniture and my husband has had to add the reinforcement himself. We got the "Wood" colored one. The blond wood has a slight gray undertone, which I like. It keeps it from being too yellow. It's not as well-made as more expensive furniture, but it is well made for this price point and we are very happy with it. It came very quickly and was delivered to our front porch. I couldn't get my other photos to load. The color in the photo is darker than in real life. But you can see how the bottom of the drawer is reinforced in the photo.. Judith. Grand Rapid Mi. Overall, this 6-drawer dresser exceeded my expectations in both build quality and presentation. Putting it together took some time, but the assembly process itself was very straightforward with clear, logical steps. There are numerous screws, cam locks, and dowels of varying lengths, so taking a few minutes upfront to sort and label the parts by size makes the rest of the build much smoother. Once fully assembled, the unit is remarkably sturdy. There is zero wobble or flexing, and the frame feels solid and well-anchored against the floor. The drawers sit evenly on their tracks and glide smoothly, feeling dependable even when loaded up. The dark finish carries through cleanly on the drawer interiors as well, giving the inside a cohesive, finished appearance rather than leaving bare raw particleboard exposed. Visually, the dresser looks sharp and clean. The rich, dark walnut-toned wood grain brings substantial warmth and depth to the room, creating an upscale, classic aesthetic without feeling bulky. The recessed paneling on the drawer fronts adds great dimension, and the subtle framing around the base and top edges gives it a custom, built-in feel. The antique-style dark drop-ring pulls complement the deep tone nicely, contrasting just enough to give character while keeping the lines refined. In person, the color is very deep and closer to an espresso walnut under normal indoor lighting.
