I ordered these chair mats recently and was a little surprised that they felt pretty cold when they arrived. If you’re ordering during the winter, I’d recommend letting them sit at room temperature for a while before unrolling them. Once they warmed up and I followed the instructions, they flattened out without any issues. So far they’ve been working really well. My chair glides smoothly on the carpet now, which is a big improvement from before. They also look nice and are easy to wipe clean, so maintenance has been simple. Update- not very easy to clean and looks darker now, but still feels good to sand in! Haven’t had this very long yet since it arrived during the holidays, but it is heavenly to stand on. It’s so squishy to stand on, you sink into it. It’s very thick and has a good bounce to it. I like the shape, as usually these types of mats are square.
