Horloge murale 12,5 po Darell

I’m very happy with this clock. The reasons I have given it four stars is the image shows clock hands that have a special detail while the hands on the clock that arrived were somewhat plain. The clock measures 14” so it is a little bigger than the 12.5” size listed. The clock is well made and the pendulum adds a little interest. It is truly a unique clock, well priced and fun.

I LOVE THIS CLOCK! Perfect for my French vintage bathroom. The quality is amazing and the pendulum adds that perfect touch. Worth every penny.

It should be noted that the clock hands shown in two of the three listing photos are not the clock hands you will receive. I noticed the difference in hands when I ruminated over whether or not to buy this clock. I went insofar as to ask a Wayfair product question (see attached), to which the answer, led me to believe I would get the fancier, ornate (open circle ended) clock hands and not the generic solid clock hands. I was mistaken. I got the solid hands. Even the sticker on the clock box showed the fancy clock hands! Alas, reality was boring clock hands. It's a real shame, too, because those fancier hands really add and elevate the look of the clock. But it's not worth the effort to return it over that detail so it will remain. It is a pretty clock face and I like the metal-like edge around it. My daughter thinks it has a steampunk quality but I feel it's more French/Moroccan. The clock does make a loude enough ticking sound, it is definitely not silent. The pendulum swings, a little too quickly for me, but it provides nice visual interest. The pendulum and the ticking sound correspond to the seconds time, my husband pointed out. True enough. I chose the pink because it worked with a few other things we have in the area I placed the clock in. While I'm on the subject of bringing things to your attention, know there isn't any hook on the back for hanging. You literally need to have a nail long enough to go into your wall, and best at an angle, to then set the clock upon. I'm giving four stars for the clock hands style debacle.

We ordered the Darell 12.5" wall clock by Alcott Hill. After a bad experience with a different clock elsewhere, we're THRILLED with this one. It's solid and beautiful!

I like the look of the clock but the finish on the pendulum is very cheap.
