Beautiful frames. Not cheap but beautiful.

Beautiful frames at a great price! They came very well packaged (first photo). Each frame is shrink wrapped individually, then frames were shrink wrapped together in groups of 3, then shrink wrapped again with everything together, and packaged in flexible foam . The frames themselves are gorgeous and I’m happy that they are real glass (and not plexiglass like many other frames at this price point). I purchased the Tuscan Sand, a beautiful warm medium-dark brown. Yes, they have a cardboard backing held in by tabs, which could definitely be improved, but you don’t see itthem. With regard to removing the backing without damaging it, GENTLE is the operative word. I simply used a table knife to GENTLY press those tabs as flat as you possibly can against the frame (third photo), making sure nothing will hang up on them, and GENTLY lift out backing and mat. Slow and steady is the key here. Again, the backing could most certainly be better quality, but it isn’t a show stopper for me given the value. Altogether very happy with the look and the outcome. Definitely coming back for more.
