The surface looks porous, rough and rustic--there’s no glaze. As a result, I was certain that it would not hold water without the exterior getting damp like a terracotta pot would. However, I filled it with water and left it on the countertop overnight. The next morning I discovered that it was still dry. (However, several days later, it was definitely damp--so I wouldn't use this vase with fresh flowers.) It was shipped very well and arrived intact. It is fairly small, so it won’t hold a big arrangement. But as a small side table accent vase filled with a few flowers, it’s nice.

Great accent piece to add texture to any space. Vase looks hand-made. Looks perfect against neutral color schemes. Would look great with a dry flower arrangement. I paired it with linen fabrics and brushed silver metals in my living room.

Perfect accent to my book shelf to bring in some color. I love how the color pops with a dark background. It can also be used as a dry vase in time I may pull it down and place some silk flowers inside. The vase is very solid and well made.

I was really excited when I found Wayfair had Mexican style potting vases. This looks like it was made on a potting wheel by hand. It is so beautiful and I highly recommend this whether you have a Mexican style home or not. It is perfect anywhere!

Nice vase but dull in colour. It’s has a more rose tone than Terra cotta.
