I ordered the large version of this mirror. It is around 20-25 pounds. The flimsy backer board fell off before it could be hung. Husband had to glue that back on as the tiny screws holding it on ripped the board when it fell off. We used our own drywall anchors, appropriate for this weight, as the mirror was quite heavy and even those were not enough to secure the mirror. It ripped the drywall as we were hanging it. Ended up removing drywall and placing horizontal 2x4s between the joists in order to secure it properly. The tiny, tiny screw holes that you are supposed to use to hang are ridiculous - good luck holding up this heavy mirror and latching into them on the first go, or the tenth. We scratched up the paint pretty good trying to perfectly align those holes with the screws in the wall. We finally got it up and it is hanging securely. There is no way hanging it would be a one person job between the weight and try to align it perfectly. Thank goodness it looks nice. The smaller mirror might be more manageable from the hanging perspective. The design should have been different for something this large. Again, at least it looks good now that it is up.

We bought two to hang over our double sink vanity. We love them!

Update were keeping the mirror. I still worry it will come apart from the backing and destroy my new vanity but its exactly what I wanted aesthetically so Im crossing my fingers. Im attaching a picture. I just love the shelf so Im adding a couple stars. Initial review This mirror was the most frustrating part of our bathroom makeover. Its poorly constructed and so difficult to hang. I should have listened to the other review who said not to buy it. We ordered the black finish and its so heavy (heavier than the gold one according to the specs). There are imperfections in the mirror itself and it doesnt line up with the frame. We hung it level and it still looks crooked. We arent confident the frame will hold together and we are worried it will fall. We will probably replace it but now we have to patch the holes from it. Just awful.

Beautiful design but terrible construction. The backing materials are not sufficient to hold the weight of the mirror and there is no lip in the frame to prevent to from falling out. Do NOT buy this item- it is a danger to have in your house.

Arrived in one piece with no broken glass so I was very happy about that. Great packaging. This will be perfect and I love that it will have a small shelf for storage
