Purchased 12/5/25. 2 AA batteries per candle. Yellow candle light flickers well. All gold bases fall off in the box - they don't screw in to the base and there is no adhesive so smooth plastic slides right out of smooth plastic. You'd have to crazy glue or leave them off. You need to buy suction cups separately if you don't crazy glue the bases. No remote. You turn on/off by twisting the flame.
