The end of the rod was flattened when I got it.

Unfortunately, this curtain rod did not meet my expectations. The finials were not as pink as I thought they would be and rather small for the size of the bracket. The bracket sits too far away from the wall - bringing more attention to the very small finials and letting more light in the window when curtains are closed. However, the return process was quick and easy.
