I have had these stripes up for about four years and washed them several several times and they look brand new!!

Excellent quality would by again, they are heavy and block the heat or draft. Keep them up all year.

My office window faces south where it gets bright, indirect light most of time, so I replaced with builder blinds with sheer curtains to keep as much of the view and natural light as possible. However, I discovered that, in the winter, when the sun's arc crosses a bit lower on the horizon, the light becomes too much and makes it impossible to see my computer monitor. I solved the problem by hanging a blackout panel behind each of the far outside sheers so that in the winter I can draw the curtains all the way across as needed to block the light, while in the summer, they can stay tucked to the side and out of the way. Perfect solution to a temporary problem!
