From the photos I thought the pillow was in the primitive style, with a cream color background. It is not primitive, though. The background is metallic gold and the embroidery is in a contemporary style. I DO like the plaid backing, though. It's a nice, well made pillow if you're not looking for primitive!

This a very beautiful pillow It has a snowman on the front and red plaid on the back. It can be turn on either side....beautiful.

Pillow is really cute, nice embroidery and I was delightfully surprised that the back of the pillow is a fabulous plaid, so it's like getting two pillows for the price of one.
