The holidays are fast upon us and the urge to decorate is in full swing. My sunroom had a decidedly autumn vibe, but I wanted to start moving towards a Christmas holiday look. I checked out the wall art available on Wayfair and found several possible choices that were a subtle nod to winter. I found “Carols of Frost lit Promise” as I was scrolling. It is offered in multiple sizes including 36”x 24”, 48”x 32”, 60”x 40”. In addition, there are several canvases with similar looks available as well. Since my ceilings in the sunroom are very high I chose the 60”x 40” option. I replaced another canvas that hung above the sofa. It also is 60”x 40” and was obtained from Wayfair a few years ago. I placed my order and received the enormous package very quickly. The box dwarfed the little gal who delivered it. The package was in moderately good shape with a few puncture holes in the box. Fortunately, I did not see any damage to the canvas. I hung it immediately once I wrestled it out of the box. I was disappointed that the frame on which the canvas is attached is not square and thus it does not lay flat on the wall. I’ll have to figure out a way to fix this. The picture is a gallery wrapped canvas. The canvas has a soft white gray background with red berries and green needles on silvery gray branches. The print is attractive, but has a very flat appearance because of the way it is created.
