The people bookends came today and they are very nice looking, especially for the price I paid. I got them through the open box program with a very nice discount. I like the pewter, it looks very crafty! It is not as heavy as I thought it would be, being metal, but it is not overly light, either. It is certainly enough to hold the books up. The detail on the kids is also quite nice. I wasn’t sure how that would be, I was happily surprised. The only thing I was slightly disappointed about is the two bookends do not meet completely aligned. There is a slight gap, but when books are placed between they, no one will notice. I would recommend this set to anyone needing bookends.

Really cute and decorative. I wanted something different to serve a particular purpose and this fit the bill. I am using these book ends on the very top of my new media storage to put DVD sets between. These bookends compliment a marble set already owned. What I love is how the different mediums are in contrast yet are very complimentary to one another. The detail etched in each is nice. They have been complimented on by friends!!!
