We ordered this record player as a gift for a younger family member who expressed an interest in vinyl records. This is a good starter machine and reasonably easy to operate for a younger person. The material is a great retro blue suede fabric and looks super cool. The controls are on the top and easy to operate. 3 speeds for all types of records. There are plugs on the back to attach external speakers . The record players internal speakers are in the front and do an adequate job of playing music, just don't expect music hall quality. A nice little portable setup. Recommended!
