This blanket is a very generous size and extremely soft! I also really like the color - it was listed as yellow but it’s definitely more of a caramel color, which is very pretty. My dog has been obsessed with it. It’s got some good weight to it also, which makes it extra cozy. The underside (you can see a bit in my pics) is not the same fur texture, more like a plain velvet, but it’s still quite soft. I wish the underside was the same caramel color instead of white. I like that the furry side isn’t super long, as I’ve had blankets with longer fur in the past and they never come out of the wash looking good. I haven’t washed this one yet but feel more confident it’ll be ok. One weird note is that I keep getting comments from people that it looks like the texture of a brain or coral, and I can’t unsee that now (you’ll see what I mean in my pics!)

This blanket is pretty glorious. I love faux fur blankets but every time I’ve had one, it always looks cheap. This is not the case with this blanket!! This baby is LUSH. It’s thick and cozy and warm. I actually held off washing it initially because I saw a review that said it lost its softness. I finally washed it and it is still so amazingly soft. Didn’t seem to disturb the fur at all. Seems like it will hold up! It has almost a stretch to it I do have some cons though.. to take my pictures I draped it over a chair, I then removed the blanket so you can see the amount this blanket sheds. It’s unreal. Unfortunately I wear a lot of black so I have to keep a lint roller handy. This was after washing it too. Hopefully it isn’t always like this because it’s very excessive. My other con is that the fur top is only attached to the reverse side with an outer stitching. Kind of like an empty throw pillow cover. It can make it difficult to lay out or fold up. The material is kind of slippery. I tried to show this in another picture. Overall still love this blanket, the pros definitely far outweigh the cons. it’s May now, but I can just imagine when the fall comes to cuddle with it with the fire going!

I absolutely love this purchase. It is more than I ever expected. It is so soft blanket and such a wonderful feel on my skin. I highly recommend for anyone looking for a super good looking, soft, out of this world to the touch blanket.

So when I first opened the package, the blanket looked beautiful, but it had a factory smell to it. So I washed it according to the instructions on the tag (cold water, gentle cycle, no heat, air setting to fluff), I also used very minimal detergent and no dryer sheet, and unfortunately it did not wash well. It’s still soft but not that luxurious feel it had before being washed. It is also shedding like crazy.
