There was no strong or unpleasant odor out of the package, which was a nice surprise. The fabric is lightweight and makes no noise when moving, even with the window open. Performance-wise, it lets in plenty of natural light while still providing a soft level of privacy. Care is easy since it washes well and doesn’t require special handling. Overall, a beautiful and practical sheer curtain.
