The clock is beautiful and well finished with an elegant appearance. However, the opening for I installing batteries is not large enough and somewhat cumbersome. The instructions are also somewhat ambiguous. I set the time before installing the batteries as indicated to prevent the clock to be out of sync with the chimes, but the chimes rang 4 times at 7:50 PM. I’ll try removing the batteries and start all over.

The clock is pretty, that's about all I can say. I put in the 3 batteries, brand new and the hands do not move so I assume the clock is defective. Also, trying to get to the settings for the movements is almost impossible the area is so small to work in and since the batteries don't work the clock to me is worthless. Very desappointed.
