Household screws would have to be dabbed in matching paint as the screw holes are prominent. These make for a cute gift for inside the house or by the pool.

Smaller than I thought, and I should have paid attention to the sizing details. I agree with another reviewer that the screws be part of the purchase. Otherwise, they are perfect!
