Its pretty cheap and delicate, and workmanship is shoddy. There is visible yellow glue showing all along the rope trim, and ropes aren't solidly adhered to the box all the way around. Front clasp is not installed to level. Hinges are very small and thin and I expect they will break, or the tiny screws holding them in will separate from the soft wood box. Corner of shipping box was crushed but contents were not damaged. Looks cheap. I will likely return.

Such great idea for my grandson. I'm putting a picture of him and his dad when they were the same age on the top and inside I'm putting a few of his dad's favorite things. It reminds me of an heirloom so that's how I'm going to use it
