I like the uniqueness of this candle holder. It is well made and works well in the space. I ordered a flickering candle with a remote that is 9" x 3." That was the suggested size. It was too tall due to the insert they put in the bottom of the candle that raises it about 3." If you purchase a candle for this candle holder, I would not go taller than 5."
