This picture is a treasure of mine. It's clear and authentic. Harriet is a woman who worked hard in the service of others in the name of freedom, their self-worth and recognition, and the pursuit of prosperity. In this photo she has aged, yet is well cared for and safe. Nonetheless, you can see that she's is tired, worn, and cantankerous. She has little patience for or interest in this photo. It's a beautiful and vibrant treasure.
