This rod was extended to 82" and the max it can extend is 88. I put 100% block out drapes on it, 3 pr. The rod has a center support. The rod barely holds the curtains. It is not constructed of sturdy material.

Attractive quality rods at a great price

I wanted something different from the plain old ball at the end of the rod. This fit the bill. Lightweight so I don’t think it’s real heavy duty, but effective and holds my drapes just fine. Took off one star because it came with a scratch in the finish on one finial. I just turn the scratch to the back.

I have moved 3 times since I purchased these rods. Each time I use them, they are so different than ANYTHING I can find in a store. I absolutely LOVE them.
