Modern & Contemporary Analogue Metal Quartz Movement / Crystal Tabletop Clock in

The clock arrived in a very flimsy and damaged box, so no surprise when I opened the box, the clock was scratched and the metal arm that holds the clock was broken in two. A delicate metal product wrapped in a thin layer of bubble wrap and a soft box that looked like it had been used a hundred times. The clock was so damaged it honestly looked like it was retrieved from a garbage can. Very disappointed I assumed that reporting this to Wayfair would result in an apology and return shipping label. I reported everything the Wayfair website, uploaded pictures and gave details but when it came to return options it said I had to contact Wayfair, once they re opened. The next day I got a text, "Hi this is Wayfair, how can we help you?" Hug, I said, what was the point of all the forms I filled out and pictures uploaded, it seemed to have disappeared into the ether. I tried chat but that was no help so I called. Luckily I got a very good customer service on the phone and she explained that Wayfair would ha ve to send me a replacement clock, I couldn't just return it. We went back and forth for a while I then I gave up and just decided to pay for return shipping myself to avoid the nonsense of having to get another (orobbay broken) clock only to have to try and return that one too. So I got a broken clock and am out $15. I will NEVER order anything from Wayfair again. I do not believe a customer should be punished because some people have made false claims in the past, this was my first ever order from Wayfair and it will be my last.

Love its “antique” like look and although it has a big face, it is not overpoweringdistracting (got it right next to the TV!). Small little issue is that it seems to slow down by seconds every so often and we have to update it every so often when it reaches a minute or two of difference….

This clock is wonky and cheap. The face is loose inside and it was spun entirely upside down when it arrived. When spun back upright, it does not sit nicely centered. 12 o’clock is never precisely north. There is some “distressing” on the exterior that just looks like it got beat up during shipment. Maybe it was. Maybe it’s not intended to look this way. I can’t tell. The iron hook is loose and crooked, so the whole thing hangs at a strange angle (both side to side and front to back—which unfortunately you can see since it’s on the mantel). I’m only keeping it because it was cheap and if you stand far enough away you can’t really see all the issues with it — and I desperately needed a clock for my mantel.

The clock is really nice, however; it is packaged horribly and mine was crushed during transit. I didn't want to risk receiving another damaged item, so I ordered something else from another vendor. It's a shame because I really like the clock. If you receive an undamaged clock, I'm sure you will love it.
