He was deeply influenced by the expressive works of Fernando Carlo, whose graffiti legacy helped shape the contemporary edge found in Beiv’s art today. A graduate of the Pratt Institute in the early 1990s, he now travels across America seeking inspiration in everything from tagged urban walls to prestigious museums. Austin continues to embrace the unique, expressive simplicities that life offers, translating them into captivating contemporary pieces.
