The ONLY reason I am giving this wallpaper two stars is because the illustration really is adorable and as pictured. Otherwise, I have never met a product I loathe more. Let's start with the fact that I have installed thousands of square feet of wallpaper in my new home over the past year. I have worked with both peel-and-stick as well as pre-pasted and understand that there are benefits and challenges with both applications (namely, you are going to get messy with paste but in exchange it is a lot more forgiving when installing). This wallpaper, however, was manufactured by Satan. It is evil in roll form and I hate it so much. The thick backing repeatedly rips when peeling it off, leaving you destroying your fingernails to peel itty bitty pieces from the center of the paper. While you are doing that, you will definitely find the paper bending and sticking to itself, your hair, and anything that isn't where it is supposed to be on the wall. Once you do manage to wrestle it onto the wall, the paper lifts and bubbles *everywhere.* Even with repeated smoothing, the only way to get it to actually stay on the wall is to use a spray-on paste (which then negates any benefit to having a peel and stick wallpaper as you are getting covered in paste in the end anyhow). The paper isn't even paper but a strange shiny vinyl that stretches and curls and bends and makes it so that pattern matching is a near impossibility. I have never cussed more than when installing this paper and heaven help the people who try to install this as a team as I am certain I would say things I only regret if witnesses were present. I have five more pieces to install before my entryway is totally done and I am genuinely questioning whether I even care enough to have a completely wallpapered room to deal with this paper any more. The fact that I am considering having the first impression of my house be a partially papered room should say it all.
