Décoration murale Edges

Describing this art piece as a "splash of color" is completely wrong. Unlike the 1st and 3rd photos posted online, the colors are not bright...they are fairly dark and diminished. Given those 2 colorful photos were so different than the second picture shown, I called to inquire before ordering. I was assured that the brighter colors more accurately portrayed the art piece. Completely wrong! I thought I might be able to take it apart and repaint some of the squares but it is constructed in such a way that opening it would completely destroy it. I have no idea how they got enough light directed at this shadow box to light up those colors since the glass is extremely reflective (making the art inside even harder to see). It also is extremely heavy for its size so sending it back would be a pricey thing to do...also makes it harder to hang. I have to say, I have been disappointed in the two purchases I have made from Wayfair. Clearly descriptions are written by the seller, not Wayfair, and can't always be counted on to be completely accurate.

Bought 2 of these. Look great as a pair!
