I love these sculptures. The colors are rich and deep and have a classic elegance that adds warmth to a room.

These are great. Fit right in with my other Chinese pieces. Note, though, they are not really dogs, even though they are commonly called "Foo Dogs". This is a misnomer given to them in the West. They are actually lions, which the Chinese call "Guardian Lions". In Chinese mythology, they guard houses and other places. And this set is a great example because of the high quality of porcelain and coloring, and also because of the traditional style.

I was very happy to find these temple lion dogs in my favorite color of blue. They are very fine quality and comparably priced although Perigold was the only retailer who had them in my favorite color.
