Sculpture en marbre obelisk Konner

I received this awesome obelisk and it is very impressive. It’s very heavy and tall. Not skinny at all. Upon further examination, I noticed that the four panels on the base of the obelisk looked like they were glued on. Not carved from the stone. It made me suspect that the main obelisk is glued to the base perhaps. I think this piece would look better without the glued on panels on each side of the base. Other than that observation, it is a great piece. Very heavy and substantial. For under 180 bucks, it’s not bad at all. If it was all carved from a single piece of stone and no glue, this would be serval hundred dollars if not more.

Tall, heavy, and beautifully variegated. Loved it so much I had to order the white one.
