Disappointed with the quality of the pillows I purchased. Not worth $80 for 2 pillows. Pictures were deceiving.

Beautiful, soft, and thoughtfully designed accent pillow! I absolutely love my new Jazz Harlem Renaissance Pillow! It arrived as a pillow insert plus a separate zippered pillowcase. I do kind of wish it arrived already assembled, but I suppose that's fine. It also had instructions to wash it first, but I'm too afraid ruin it or fade the lovely vibrant colors. I'm not sleeping on it, it's for my couch and/or bay window accent pillows, so I don't think washing it first is really necessary. The pillowcase itself is gorgeous—extremely soft and smooth, almost velvety to the touch without actually being fuzzy or textured. The zipper is very discreet and well-designed; once closed, it practically disappears into the seam, which gives it a clean, high-end finish. Putting the pillow inside the case was a bit of a snug process. The opening doesn’t run fully across, so you do need to carefully ease the pillow in. I was a little rushed and ended up slightly stressing the seam, so I’d definitely recommend taking your time during assembly to avoid any strain on the fabric. (Hence why I wish it already came put together!) The insert itself is more basic in comparison—it feels a bit firm and has a slightly lower-cost outer material. That said, once it’s inside the cover, it doesn’t matter at all because the case elevates the entire look and feel. Overall, this is a beautiful decorative piece that feels special and high quality where it counts. Even with the minor note about the insert and the careful handling needed during setup, I would absolutely buy it again. I’m already looking for more designs in this collection.
