I was very disappointed in the quality of the cane. The head and walking tip were both loose and the tip actually fell off. The quality of the casting of the head was also poor and there was a sharp burr that I had to remove because it kept digging into my hand. I hope that this is not an indication of the quality of items on this website. Pros: none Cons: read my review

This is an impressive piece. It was just a little smaller than I expected but I'm a fairly big guy and that happens to me all the time. Now for the good part- I get a minimum of 10 compliments each time I go out with this cane. The men love the design and the women admire the finish and scrollwork. Its not a toy-it's solid- and I feel like it is not just a deterrent of would-be muggers but I am certain that it would be very effective against anything but firearms. however it is mainly just cool as ice.. Anyone needing a cane or even collectors will walk with more confidence and pride with this design. By the way, I have never been moved to write a good review about any product before!

Head fell off the cane first time I picked it up. Shafter is not a very large diameter. Tried gluing the handle to stay on to no avail. It's now residing in the landfill. Worst example of your product that I've seen. Everything else I've ordered were great but this cane was a BIG disappointment.

The head and spike end piece fell of as soon as I removed it from the box. The wood staff is a cheap light and almost balsa wood type of material more suited to fancy dress costume than real walking cane. The pewter head was poorly cast and the filigree was partially smoothed out in the process.
