Blue Silver Spring I - Horloge murale moderne

I have loved work by this designer for a long time, they make shower curtains, clocks and pillows with these beautiful and interesting designs on them, There are times I see a few of them in the open box area, which is where i found this clock on sale for a great price. When receiving it, the packing could of been better due to, Clocks take a lot of work to pack since the hands on the face of the clocks are so sensitive and can not be bent or broken, I had to try and straighten them out when I pulled the clock from the box. I put a battery in the back and hoped to see the hands move on there own, It seems to sort of be keeping the time correctly, Ive had to fix it a few times. After that issue, I realized that the clock itself is very thin, and light, I know that is a plus as well as a negative, due to this is a wall clock and the lighter the piece the easier it is to hang, but my real shock with this piece comes in at the lovely art work. It is the shiniest piece I have ever saw, it looks in the photo as if it is painted, but in fact it is a shiny piece of Im not sure what material on a thin metal circle. I know art is not an exact science and no two pieces are ever the same, but it doesnt even seem like the numbers are lined up or spaced out correctly. When you fix it so the 12 is at the top, the 6 is not directly underneath it. I hope in the photo’s I am adding you can see what I mean about the shiny glaze on the face of the clock. The colors are perfect for the color of paint on my walls, and it blends exactly, so I am not sure what I am doing yet with this piece, that will all depend on if it keeps correct time or not. I am also showing a picture from the side so you can see for yourself how thin it is, and the back and how the back part is created which kind of looks like masking tape?

The numbers on this big of a clock are a little distorted when looking at it up close. The colors are beautiful though.
