I thought the mirror part was glass. It is plastic and is very wavy. The fun house effect is dizzying. I am bummed, I love the size and style of this mirror.

This is a heavy pressboard backing with a plastic stick able mirror that you have to put together.

this was a piece of wood with a plastic you peal off that acts as the mirror. I thought I was purchasing a mirror but not the case.
