I used this "wall art" in a window to block the light and for privacy. The canvas is VERY thin. It let light through and the outline of people was visible. I had to staple "backing board" to the frame in order to use it for MY purpose. I understand, it is meant to hang on the wall where its transparency wouldn't be an issue but if anyone wants to use it as I did, you'll need to put a backing on it. As I said earlier, the canvas is VERY THIN.
