This looks almost completely black in person. I was hoping for a smokier effect that is shown in the photos. Will be returning unfortunately. Great quality paper though!

I returned it because the pattern looked cheap

This wallpaper didn’t work for us and we had to return it. As expressed in other reviews, it shows any imperfections in the wall due to its high glossy finish. The patterns didn’t line up either. Every other arch was misaligned and caused very noticeable breaks in the over all pattern.

The pictures don't really show what the paper looks like. It looked like the background is different shades of grey, but, it's really a solid black. It's very slick and reflective, so that's why the pictures look like that. You'd have to have a very smooth wall and be a very good hanger to have this look right.

The dark color of this paper seemed to highlight imperfections of the wall. Suggest only using on extremely smooth surfaces. Sadly, we ended up removing the paper because of this.
