I was very disappointed with this item. First, the directions were not enough to be helpful in construction. Next, the description of "metal" was incorrect. As far as I saw there was no metal in the product; it was just black-painted wood. Also, on one of the sections where a person should be able to slide the sections in to construct it, there was an obvious crack on the side, making it flimsy and close to breaking if I put anything on the display. Because of all of these reasons, I am extremely disappointed. I will be returning
