Rouleau de papier peint classique damassé

This wallpaper is heavyweight and catches the light beautifully. I plan to use it to line the back of my hutch and its got that beautiful gold damask that I hope will give the background intereste without stealing the show. The paper does feel slightly textured, but not with the pattern thats printed, so its textured but not embossed.

I ordered this roll of wallpaper in green and, though very nice wallpaper and a lovely pattern, it is definitely not the same color as in the primary picture used to advertise it. In looking through the rest of the pictures now, I do see that they show a lighter color. I should have looked at the rest of the pictures, but feel strongly that the primary picture should show this paper color as it is in person--a light green and not dark green. I grabbed this because the dark green it appeared to be in the primary picture was the exact color I painted an accent wall in my bedroom several years ago. I was going to use this on the accent wall because it would have been awesome, but in person it is the color in the additional pictures (that I had not seen)... which happens to be the exact color I am trying to get away from that I painted the other three bedroom walls. I am hoping I find a different area to use this paper because it is very nice, but I am bummed. I took pictures in brighter and darker lighting plus a close up. You can see that it is still pretty light- colored, even in darker lighting, and it matches the color of the wall it is against--the color I will paint cream instead of that particular green. It is very nice wallpaper though, and I am still giving this a higher star rating because it is also partially my fault for not looking at the other pictures. However, they really need to change the primary picture. Were it the right color, the paper is even prettier in person than it is online. The gild in it is not too shiny, so would have been perfect. It came with plenty on the roll to do the accent wall in my bedroom, with the bedroom being twelve by 12 X 12 feet with 8 foot ceilings and a window approximately 4 X 3 on the wall. The quality seems very good, with it being nice and thick. Overall, this quality of wallpaper is absolutely what I would use but I would caution a buyer to look at all of the pictures for the green color to be sure that is the color green you want. I feel like this product is a good value and would get it again but in a different color. (Best tip for wallpapering that I have found to date and used successfully last time I wallpapered is to, especially for darker wallpapers, paint the wall a color close to your wallpaper at all edges and also where the wallpaper seams will meet so that if if you dont quite make it to an edge or if your seams are not perfectly lined up, you will not see white wall behind.)

This wall paper is impressive, it is so beautiful. The paper quality is good, it is pretty thick and does not have glue so you will need glue. The colors are deep and rich, the pattern is incredibly detailed and the gold is just the right amount of metallic shine and the most wonderful surprise is that it has the most subtle bits of glitter in it somehow. You can only see the glitter when the light hits it just right and as I said it is VERY subtle but it adds a magical quality to this wall paper, you can see it just a tiny bit the little glints of light in the design in the close up picture so you can see how very subtle it is. I am using this to create an accent wall in our foyer walkway and I really can't wait to hang it!

Excellent choice for my niece’s bedroom! Needed something to keep head prints off wall and perfect! Came on time without any damages. Texture and style, pretty cool. Not too flashy but just nice enough to compliment the room.

This wallpaper tears very easy and its very hard to work with because of it. Its beautiful though and I wish it would have worked out.
