What a stunning clock. If you haven't heard of this brand, Hermle is a serious clock company--not just a decorative brand. It was founded in Germany in 1922 and has been making clocks for more than 100 years. The quality really shows. And when you get it, you won't be disappointed with a printed or glued face, or knicks around the bezel, or all of those other small typical annoyances with buying decorative clocks. I was delighted with it as soon as I opened the box. (Just FYI: The face is pure white; in my photo it looks blue because it's late afternoon.)

It is nice, just as it appears in the listing photos. The back seems less than premium, but it’s fine —it isn’t visible. Good packaging for shipment. Typical clock mechanism.
